It's A Boy's World!

As I am knee deep into aunt Flo's visit, my belief that there is no equality between straight men (thanks Matty) and women is solidified.

Most women suffer through their faithful aunt's visit monthly. Dealing with auntie brings on the unwanted headache and other nonsense that she decides to bring with her during her stay. While straight men stay clear as soon as they smell auntie's favorite Perfume Midnite Snatch (AKA PMS), us girls are stuck consoling ourselves with a huge pint of Ben and Jerry's Rocky Road Ice Cream (yeah right, like a pint of Ben and Jerry's has four servings) while watching Moulin Rouge with a half empty box of tissue right near by.

As if our monthly emotional torture is not enough, us women also have to play a role as an Alien incubator to ensure the survival of our planet by providing perfect balance of little alien creatures to make our Dolce Gabbana Jeans on Canal street. If you have not seen Segourney Weaver's movie "Alien", run, I mean really run and don't walk to the nearest video rental store and get yourself a copy. You will thank me later when you come face to face with a woman in need of your assistant as these parasites starts to break out of the host. Yes, I won't deny it nor would I soft peddle it for you. It will be bloody as all hell and men brace your selves, as only a few survive (God knows, I've seen grown men fall like flies). Can you imagine how painful that must be? As the parasite slowly stretches the skin, centimeter by centimeter, inch by inch until it is able to break free of the poor host? Can you imagine going through such slow and excruciating painful torment? I've survived, but only barely!

Now, imagine my shock and dismay to learn that the inequality doesn't just stop here!

If I remember correctly, I read a few articles about testicular stem cell just the other day. Apparently, a German research team led by Dr. Skutella was able to produce stem cells that were harvested from spermatogonial cells (cells which normally mature into sperm). Dr. Skutella's team were able to turn these testicular stem cells into different cell types after subjecting them through a series of chemical processes. This new finding will potentially allow us to grow personalized replacement tissues which when implanted will have little or no rejection by the host. I suppose these testicular stem cells will also bypass the ethical issues that surround embryonic stem cells. Testicular stem cells are not fertilized as it is with embryonic stem cells. How convenient that these testicular stem cells will only benefit, you guessed it, MEN! Oh, the HUMANITY!

END NOTE: I agree with Matt's assessment. Appeasement through castration!
